Julie Baldwin played field hockey, basketball, lacrosse and softball. She was on the United States Field Hockey team for five years as goalkeeper. Losing seasons were unknown as none of the teams she played on at Beaver ever had a losing season. Serving as President of the Beaver College Athletic Association may have inspired her role as a Co-founder of the Rhode Island Senior Games.
