Arcadia University softball player Jessica Wood was named the MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week after leading the Knights to a 4-2 week. Jessica Wood hit .615 and scored four runs, knocked in six more and hit a homer. She went 2-1 in the circle with a 2.39 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched. Wood went 3-3 with three runs scored in Arcadia's second game win at Stevenson on Saturday. She also had 1.000 fielding percentage and did not strikeout at the plate.
