Senior Whitney Boeckel capped off an outstanding collegiate career by winning gold medals in the 100 and 200 backstroke events to go with a silver medal in the 200 individual medley at the 2015 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships. She is now the most decorated and highest scoring individual in program history.

Boeckel captured her first career MAC title after touching the wall in 59.50 seconds to close out the third day of competition after setting a new program record in Saturday’s prelims with a time of 59.06 seconds. She then opened the final day of competition by dominating the 200 backstroke, registering a winning time of 2:08.65 that was 4.02 seconds faster than the runner-up. Boeckel earned her first medal of the meet with a runner-up finish in the 200 IM Friday, posting a school-record time of 2:12.04, and earned Second-Team All-Conference honors as a member of the fourth-place 400 freestyle relay and the sixth-place 200 freestyle relay, both of which finished with new school records.
