Morano recorded three first-place finishes while setting three program records and two meet records as he led Arcadia to its first-ever Diamond City Invitational Championship. Won the 100 freestyle with a meet and program-record setting time of 47.88  seconds, and won the 200 freestyle in a meet-record time of  1:46.20. He was a member of the winning 200 freestyle relay (1:30.25), leading off that event with a program record 50 freestyle time of 21.91 seconds. Morano was the runner-up in the 500 (4:54.49), was a member of the runner-up 400 freestyle relay (3:16.83) and 800 freestyle relay (7:19.59) teams, and was a member of the third-place 400 medley relay (3:43.72). He reset the program record in the 100 free after leading off the 400 free relay in 47.55 seconds.
