Melissen totaled six top-three finishes in a 2-1 week for Arcadia. He won the 200 freestyle (1:52.41), placed third in the 200 backstroke (2:06.85), took fifth in the 200 butterfly (2:14.42) , and was a member of the second-place 200 freestyle relay (1:33.36) in a double dual meet at Messiah (L, 138-122) with King's (W, 166-82). Melissen then placed second in the 200 freestyle (1:53.50), third in the 100 butterfly (57.38), and was a member of the second-place 200 medley relay (1:43.65) in a 114-90 win over Lycoming.
