Michael Melissen set a new Lenox Pool record while winning the 100 yard butterfly in a dominant win over Wilkes Friday night, the junior paced the field with a 54.46. In the same meet, he finished as the runner-up in the 200 yard freestyle with a 1:49.93. He was also the leadoff in the winning 200 yard medley relay team that finished at 1:41.83. He picked up first place points again in the 100 yard butterfly matching his 54.46 time in Saturday’s 136-126 win at Ramapo. He was the runner-up in the 200 yard rendition at 2:05.13.
