Gillen finished the week going 8 for 19 (.500 avg), including a three-hit game versus Messiah in which he recorded his 200th career hit. Against Ohio Wesleyan, the senior was a on the base all day as he tallied a hit, drew two walks, got hit by a pitch, swiped a bag and scored twice. In the second game of the Messiah series, he drove in two of the Knights six runs on a two-run double. As a team, Arcadia went 5-1 during the week on its Spring Break trip in Florida. Gillen’s final stat line for the week: 8 for 19, one double, eight runs scored, four RBI, five walks, two HBP and one steal.
