Carew was a terror in the batter’s box for opposing pitchers this past week. In five games played, the senior amassed 11 hits in 17 at-bats (.647 avg.), with five doubles and one home run, to go along with four hit by pitches. Carew tallied two three-hit games and two games of two base knocks. The outfielder also chipped in eight RBI and eight runs scored.
