Lindsey Henchinski (Blue Anchor, NJ/Windslow Twp.) generated an impressive amount of offense for Arcadia Softball, featuring her 150th career hit, in a 1-3 week for the team that included the squad’s first win in Commonwealth play at Elizabethtown on Sunday.

Although the team dropped their league opening doubleheader at Alvernia on Wednesday, they left it all on the diamond with a pair of valiant come-back attempts against the 16-2 Crusaders. Henchinski registered hit No. 150 against the Crusaders.

Henchinski led the Knights against Elizabethtown going errorless in the field while batting 3-4 with 2 runs scored and an RBI when she launched her season’s first solo home run out of the park in the top of the sixth inning in game two against the Jays that gave the Knights a 5-2 lead.

The senior infielder is batting .348 on the season, stands tied for second overall with Brandee Zablotsky ’13 for a team-leading 23 hits and leads the squad in runs (17).
