First year Kaila Gaughan (Millville, NJ/Millville) enjoyed an undefeated week as Arcadia Women's Tennis No. 3 Singles player, including two big wins against Commonwealth Conference opponents Lebanon Valley and Albright.
On April 6 against visiting Albright, Gaughan dropped Christina Peacock 6-3, 6-2. Arcadia battled with the Lions point for point with Albright edging the Knights 5-4 to take the match.
Also in a tough 5-4 team loss on Sunday at King's, Gaughan paired with Beth Osipowitz '12 at No. 1 Doubles and knocked off Sara Lynn/Diana Darby by an 8-6 result. Gaughan moved on and cruised by Emily Biffin 8-1 in singles pro-sets.
Gaughan registered Arcadia's lone point against league foe Lebanon Valley on march 31 in third set tie-breaker, 3-6, 6-4, 10-8.
