Reading, PA: (Oct. 5, 2010) - Arcadia University traveled to Albright College Tuesday evening for a conference match against the Lions, however, were never able to find their footing losing in straight sets (18-25, 11-25, 9-25).
The Knights (7-11, 0-4) utilized many different line-ups to try and stop the momentum Albright gained early on in the match, but on this night nothing was going to help. Albright used a constant attack style offense, not allowing Arcadia find any rhythm in their passing game or their own attack. The Lions also used 11 aces to stem any comeback attempt Arcadia presented.
Senior Tasha Wetten and junior Hailey Barger led the Knights with 5 kills a piece. Wetten also came up with 16 digs and ace.
Arcadia will return to action Saturday October 9th when they travel to Bryn Mawr College for a tri-match featuring the host school and local rival Gwynedd-Mercy.
