GLENSIDE, PA: (Sept. 18) - The Arcadia University Knights Women's Soccer team hosted the Knights of Neumann University Saturday afternoon, out-shooting Neumann 21-7 but neither team would score as the two teams settled for a 0-0 draw after 110 minutes. Arcadia's record moves to 5-2-1 and they remain unbeaten in their last six while Neumann stands at 1-3-1 overall on the season.

Katie O'Malley (Coatesville, PA/Coatesville Area) led the Knight's attack with 3 shots on goal while first year
Shelby Smith (North East, MD/North East) sent two shots into Neuman keeper Jacqueline McAllister. The Knights other five shots on goal came from juniors
Stephanie Welch (Port Murray, NJ/Moravian Academy) and
Ashley Knueppel (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North), senior
Brittany Drosdak (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic), sophomore
Kyrastin Cook (Murraysville, PA/Franklin Regional) and first year
Sara Volk-Perez (Mays Landing, NJ/Oakcrest). Following a scoreless regulation, both teams had one overtime corner opportunity apiece but neither team could convert.
Sophomore keeper
Jackie Law (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scoth Plains-Fanwood) added another shutout to her record, with her third straight opponent blanking, making two stops through 110 minutes. Her goals against average has dropped to 1.17 and she improves to 4-2 on the year.
McAllister finished with 10 saves for Neumann. Arcadia led in corner opportunities 6-1.
Arcadia returns to the New Field this Wednesday, Sept. 22 for a 4 PM non-conference game against Cabrini College.
