Commonwealth Conference Basketball opens tonight in Glenside

Arcadia Basketball hosts Elizabethtown College in tonight's women's & men's Commonwealth Conference season opening doubleheader

GLENSIDE, PA: The start of the Commonwealth Conference basketball season begins tonight with four match-ups across the league, including a head-to-head battle between the Blue Jays of Elizabethtown College and the Arcadia University Knights at the Kuch Center. The women's game tips-off at 6 p.m. followed by the men's game at 8 p.m.

Last season Arcadia's men pulled off a thrilling 85-84 victory on Alumni Court and knocked Elizabethtown out of play-off contention. The win resulted in the Knight's first-ever victory in Commonwealth Conference play. The Knights are currently 1-2 overall while the Blue Jays are off to slow 1-3 start to the season.

After an eleven-day hiatus, Arcadia's women are looking to snap a three-game skid to open the season with a win in tonight's opening game. The Blue Jays are 3-1 overall to date.
