Box Score Glenside, PA(October 27, 2012): The Arcadia University Knights (14-5, 4-4 CC) trounced the visiting Gators of Notre Dame of Maryland (0-14, 0-7 CSAC), 10-1.  After a dominating performance from start to finish the Knights now prepare for their first ever MAC Commonwealth Playoff game against Stevenson this Monday at 7PM on Easton Field.  Make sure to come out and support ($5 admission Fee, Free with student ID).

AU was relentless the first half scoring eight goals including two from Lynn Beatty, two from Jennie Kamel, one from Lauren Altera , and a hat trick from Rebecca Courts.

The second half was a little quieter but the Knights still managed to score two goals by Rachel Longnecke and Debbie Wolfe to push the lead to 10-0.

The lone goal for Notre Dame came from senior Rachel Jones in the final seconds of play to disrupt Arcadia's shutout.  The bright spot for the gators was goalkeeper Emily Langton who accumulated 17 saves on the night.

Tonight's senior game honored three graduating Knights who were all key contributors in the win: Lynn Beatty (2G, 1A); Lauren Altera (1G, 2A); and goalkeeper Sarah Baumgardner who recorded one save and the win.
