Box Score GLENSIDE, PA (September 19, 2012) - Arcadia's field hockey team remained unbeaten at home on Wednesday night with a 6-0 victory over local rival, Immaculata University. The win puts the Knights at 4-1 on the season.
The Knights wasted no time in lighting up the scoreboard as freshman
Jennie Kamel scored her first goal of the night just five minutes into the game. Kamel would add another goal with twenty minutes left in the half.
The Knights held a 4-0 lead at halftime, with goals coming from senior Lynn Beatty and freshman
Taylor Dalisera. Dalisera's goal was the first of her career, coming off a penalty stroke with ten minutes left in the first half.
Kamel was a big part of the Knights offense on the night. She scored three goals, capping off the scoring with a goal ten minutes into the second half. Kamel also added two assists. Lynn Beatty continued her trend of finding the back of the net. Beatty finished with two goals and now has seven on the young season.

Mia De Plato,
Megan Conley, and
Kathleen Finnegan combined for the shutout. Immaculata did not register a shot on goal as Arcadia's defense proved dominant.
The Knights are back in action on Thursday night, hosting Cedar Crest College at 7 PM. Saturday marks the opening of conference play, as Albright College will travel to Glenside for a 1 PM game on Easton Field.
