Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Arcadia University field Hockey team registered a 2-0 MAC Commonwealth victory at Stevenson University Saturday night to improve to 10-5 overall and 4-2 in conference play. The Mustangs fell to 9-8 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
Junior midfielder
Katrina Dull (Coopersburg, Pa.) opened the scoring just 8:15 into the match when she scored her fifth goal of the year after starting a penalty corner and the putting home a pass from sophomore back
Taylor Dalisera (Millersville, Md.), giving the Knights a 1-0 lead.
Sophomore back/midfielder
Isabel Farfan (Princeton Junction, N.J.) added an insurance goal in the 56th-minute for the 2-0 final. It was her first goal of the season and the first of her collegiate career.
Freshman goalkeeper
Brittany Hodson (Highesville, Md.) needed to make just one save for Arcadia as she recorded her third shutout of the season and improved her record to 10-5. Freshman goalkeeper Gabriella Brooks (Bel Air, Md.) had two saves in the cage for Stevenson as her record fell to 5-7.
Neither team was able to manage many scoring opportunities in this contest as shots were even at five each. The Knights held a 7-4 lead in penalty corners in the match.
Arcadia will next host a MAC Commonwealth match against Lebanon Valley College Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Easton Field.
