Men’s Soccer Team Ends 2013 with 1-0 Setback at Lebanon Valley

Box Score ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team finished the 2013 season with a 1-0 loss at Lebanon Valley College Saturday afternoon in a MAC Commonwealth contest. The Knights closed the year with an overall record of 6-11-2, including a 2-6-1 mark in conference play.
 
Sophomore Cam Alexander (Boiling Springs, Pa.) scored the lone goal of the match for the Dutchmen (10-6-3, MAC) when he scored off a feed from junior Connor McDonald (Benton, Pa.), and the goalkeeping tandem of seniors James Clements (Lebanon, Conn.) and Brain Fracsa (Jenkintown, Pa.) made it stand up as they combined for five saves.
 
Frasca earned the decision after making three saves in the first half, one of which was on a penalty kick in the 32nd-minute from junior Alex Wells (Hockesia, Del.), while Clements recorded two saves in the second.  Senior keeper Ryan Lantzy (Phoenixville, Pa.) had nine saves in taking the loss for Arcadia. 
 
Lebanon Valley outshot the Knights 18-9 in the match thanks to an 11-4 advantage in the second half, and had a 6-5 advantage in corner kicks.
