That proved to be the final advantage for Arcadia the rest of the way.
Hassinger tied the game at 29-all with a fast-break layup with 3:19 left in the period before senior forward Meghan Boyle (Monson, Mass.) answered with a layup at the other end that started an 8-1 run for the Lions to close out the first frame, giving them the lead for good.
Scoring went back and forth for the opening ten minutes of the second half and Albright managed to push its lead to 11 after senior guard Kristi McFadden (Coatesville, Pa.) sank a pair of free throws with 9:20 to go. The Knights managed to chip away at that lead and were back within five after Caligiuri hit a jumper to cut the deficit to 58-53 with just 29 seconds left, but Arcadia was forced to foul after that and the Lions high 3-of-4 attempts to close out the Albright win.
