Women's Soccer Runs Past Cabrini, 5-0

Box Score GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's soccer team scored two goals in the first half and tacked on three more in the second on its way to a 5-0 non-conference victory over Cabrini College Saturday afternoon at Easton Field.

Freshman forward Lennon Kramer (Nazareth, Pa.) opened the scoring when she put home a pass from Rachel Dolly (Quakertown, Pa.) in the 22nd-minute, and Dolley added a goal of her own 10 minutes later to give Arcadia a 2-0 lead at the half.
 
Junior forward Kim Canfield (Hillsborough, N.J.) redirected a lead pass from Kramer inside the left post in the 49th minute for her first goal of the game, and she headed in her second off a corner kick in the 76th minute for her team-leading seventh goal of the year. Senior forward Michelle Morgan (Philadelphia, Pa.) capped the scoring with five minutes to go when scored on a scramble in front of the goal.  
 
Senior keeper Jackie Law (Scotch Plains, N.J.) recorded three saves in 68:56 to improve her record to 3-0-2 for the season, while junior Veronica Willig (Lancaster, Pa.) had a pair of saves in the final 21:04. Freshman keeper Marissa Jenkins (Hamilton, N.J.) allowed one goal with two saves in 21:12 before leaving the game due to injury. Sophomore keeper Brianna McGrory (Clifton Heights, Pa.) had six saves and allowed four goals in 68:48 of relief.
 
Arcadia held a slim 5-4 advantage in shots in the first half before outshooting Cabrini 14-7 in the second. Corner kicks favored the Knights by a margin of 8-5.
 
Arcadia will close out its four-game home stand Thursday when it hosts Immaculata University at 7 p.m. at Easton Field.
