RADNOR, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season after dropping a 5-3 non-conference match at Cabrini College Thursday afternoon. The Cavaliers improved to 3-2 with the win, while the Knights fell to 2-1 with the loss.
Junior

Allyson Naiken (Ringoes, N.J.) dropped a 9-8 (7-3) heartbreaker at third doubles to senior Victoria Nastala (Philadelphia, Pa.) and freshman Elena Conway (Lafayette Hill, Pa.).
Senior
Kaila Gaughan (Millville, N.J.) earned a 7-6 (8-6), 6-2 win over sophomore Nicole Broccolino (Baltimore, Md.) at first singles, while senior
Danielle Riggins (Dorchester, N.J.) pulled out a 6-2, 1-6, 12-10 thriller at fifth singles over Natala.
Viola Sawyer fell in three sets to Conway at third singles 3-6, 6-2, 8-10, while sophomore
Emily Delp (Harleysville, Pa.) fell in three sets to sophomore Mackenzie Murray (Gilbertsville, Pa.) at fourth singles 4-6, 6-0, 5-10.
Arcadia will look to bounce back Saturday when it travel to Gwynedd-Mercy College for a 1 p.m. non-conference match.
