Kim Canfield (Hillsborough, N.J.) combined for five goals as the Arcadia University women's soccer team recorded a 6-1 non-conference victory at Delaware Valle College Wednesday.
The Knights, who are ranked sixth in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Mid-Atlantic Region Rankings, improved to 7-0-2 for the season with the win. The Aggies fell to 2-7-0.
Freshman forward

Alex Stoner (Elkton, Md.), and then setup Canfield's first tally of the game just 45 seconds later to give Arcadia a 2-0 lead. Canfield scored her second goal in the 13th-minute with an assist from Elmedkhar, who capped off the first half scoring in the 28th-minute with an assist from senior forward
Sara Volk-Perez (Mays Landing, N.J.).
A total of three goals were scored in a span of only 1:28 in the second half for the 6-1 final. Freshman forward Keri Helmrich (Yonkers, N.Y.) started the fray in the 59th-minute to get Delaware Valley on the board and Elmedkhar answered for the Knights with her second goal of the game 24 seconds later. Canfield then found the back of the net for the third time 1:04 later.
Canfield's three goals and two assists raised her team-leading totals to 11 goals and 26 points. Her four assists are tied for second, one behind Volk-Perez's team-best total of five.
Senior keeper
Jackie Law (Scotch Plains, N.J.) recorded two saves in goal as she improved her record to 5-0-2 for the season. Graduate keeper Julie Burnell (Seaville, N.J.) made 12 saves and allowed all six goals in 69:53 while taking the loss for the Aggies, while freshman keeper Claudia Winters (Lambertville, N.J.) had two stops in the final 20 minutes.
Arcadia will next travel to Misericordia University Saturday for a 5 p.m. non-conference contest. The Cougars are ranked seventh in this week's NSCAA Division III Coaches' Poll and are ranked second in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
