The Knights improved to 8-6 overall and 2-5 in conference play as they recorded the program's first-ever win over the Blue Jays since the two teams first met in the 2008-09 season, snapping Elizabethtown's 10-game winning streak in the series. The Blue Jays, who entered the game tied for first in the conference standings, are now 11-2 overall and 5-2 in league play.

Junior center Emily Young (Lancaster, Pa.) gave Elizabethtown a one-point lead after draining a pair of free throws with 29.5 seconds to go in the game, and the Blue Jays had a chance to go up by three at the line with 12.2 remaining, but senior forward/guard Taylor Krieder (Willow Street, Pa.) missed the front end of a 1-and-1 and senior guard/forward Victoria Mazzeo (Langhorne, Pa.) controlled the rebound for Arcadia.

The Knights called a timeout with 12.2 seconds to go to set up the game winning play with possession in the corner furthest from the bench in the backcourt. The ball was inbounded to Caligiuri, who dribbled around several defenders on her way to the basket, where she passed off to DiMuro who laid in the go-ahead and game-winning basket.

The Blue Jays had a chance to try and steal the game, but barely got the midcourt line and did not get an attempt off before time expired.

DiMuro scored 19 points on a perfect 9-fopr-9 shooting performance from the field while pulling down seven rebounds. Sophomore guard Dominique Hassinger (Franklinville, N.J.) also scored 19 points for the Knights on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor with a pair of threes. She also had four assists, four rebounds and two steals.  Caligiuri added 13 points with four steals, thee boards and three assists.

Elizabethtown was led by sophomore guard Rachel Forjan (York, Pa.), who poured in a game-high 21 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the field with a pair of threes. Krieder and junior forward Taylor Alwine (Elizabethtown., Pa.) added 16 points each.

The Knights shot an impressive 70 percent (19-27) from the field and 83 percent (5-6) from three on their way to taking a 48-36 lead into the locker room at the half after opening the game with a 15-6 run. Elizabethtown rallied in the second, opening the period with a 13-4 run to pull with three and later going on a 10-0 run to take a 65-59 lead with 7:47 left.

Arcadia was down five, 74-69, with 3:34 left before back-to-back makes from Hassinger and DiMuro brought the Knights back within one with 2:28 remaining.  Freshman guard Amanda Buirch (Washington Township, N.J.) then put Arcadia ahead 75-74 after knocking down two free throws with 1:16 to go. She finished the game with nine of Arcadia's 28 bench points.
