GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team finished todays tri-match at Gwnyedd Mercy University with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-14) win over Keystone College this afternoon. The Knights improved to 12-5 with the win, the Giants fell to 8-11 with the loss.
Sophomore right side/opposite hitter
Makenna Micklus hit .346 with a match-high 10 kills and one error on 28 attempts, and freshman middle/opposite hitter
Colleen Stengel hit .455 with six kills and one error on 11 attempts. Senior outside hitter
Natalie Cadmus had six kills to go with seven digs, while senior middle/right side
Taylor Hoover had six kills and five digs in the match.
Sophomore setter
Alexia Bell had a match-high 23 assists to go with eight digs and two kills. Freshman libero
Sami Evans had a team-high nine digs.
Freshman opposite/middle hitter Ciera Scepaniak had a match-high 10 kills to go with a match-high 14 digs for the Giants, and junior setter Carol Mosier had a team-high 17 assists.
Arcadia will next host Messiah College on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. Commonwealth Conference match at Alumni Gymnasium
