Box Score READING, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's basketball team dropped a 67-58 Commonwealth Conference contest at Alvernia University Wednesday night, dropping its record to 10-12 overall and 4-11 in conference play. The Crusaders, who swept the season series with the Knights, improved to 8-14 overall and 4-11 in conference play with the win.
Junior guard Kaitlyn Yoh (Wernersville, Pa.) scored a game-high 22 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the field and a 10-for-12 performance at the line to lead Alvernia to the win. Freshman center Tyra Roberts (Bensalem, Pa.) added 10 points with seven boards, while sophomore guard Chelsea Ebersole (Palmyra, N.Y.) and freshman forward Taylor Eckley (Pottsville, Pa.) chipped in with eight points each.

Dominique Hassinger (Franklinville, N.J.) scored 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor to lead Arcadia, while fellow sophomore guard
Samantha Caligiuri (West Grove, Pa.) and sophomore forward

Victoria Mazzeo (Langhorne, Pa.) netted six points while pulling down a game-high 12 rebounds.
The Crusaders pulled out the win despite shooting just 34 percent (23-67) from the field and 22 percent (4-18) from three-point range, while shooting 81 percent (17-21) from the line. The Knights shot 40 percent (22-55) from the field, but were just 3-of-10 from three and shot just 48 percent (11-23) from the line.
The Knights led for most of the first half after scoring the first five points of the game, but were never able to pull away and found the score tied at the half after sophomore guard Stevie Fortna (Lebanon, Pa.) knocked down a three with 1:51 left in the opening period. Neither team scored the rest of the half, and they entered the intermission deadlocked at 26.
Ebersole drained a three on the opening possession of the second half to give the Crusaders the lead and they never trailed again. It was a one-point game after Caligiuri's layup seven minutes into the frame, but Alvvernia quickly took control of the contest with a 16-5 run to open a 49-36 advantage with nine minutes left in the game.
Arcadia attempted to make a late run and pulled back within six after Hassinger's layup made it 62-54 with 1:29 to go, but the Knights were unable to get any closer as they were forced to foul and Alvernia went a perfect 6-for-6 at the line to close out the contest and secure the win.
Arcadia will wrap up its three-game road trip Saturday when it travels to Lycoming College for a 1 p.m. Commonwealth Conference contest.
