Both games took place at Arcadia's Alumni Gymnasium.

The Knights got off to a slow start in this one as the Pride opened the contest with an 11-3 over the first five minutes of play. Arcadia was able to settle things down from there as it used a 12-4 surge to tie the score at 15, capping the run with a pair of made free throws from freshman guard Natalie Toner. Junior guard Nikki Sutliff drained a three and then hit a layup to put the Pride up 35-29 with 3:32 left in the first half, but the Knights closed the period with a 12-2 run to take a 41-37 lead at the break.

Arcadia never trailed in the second half, taking the lead for good on a layup from Crenny that broke a 47-47 tie six minutes into the frame. The Knights later used an eight-point run that started with a DiMuro layup and was capped by two DiMuro free throws to give Arcadia a 66-56 lead with five minutes remaining in the game.

The Knights led by as many as 11 in the closing minute following two made free throws from junior guard Dominique Hassinger that all but sealed the win, snapping a three-game losing streak for Arcadia.

Junior guard Maureen Fiocca scored a game-high 19 points for the Knights, while DiMuro finished with a double-double of the season after scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Hassinger also scored in double figures with 12 points.

Freshman guard Allison Gallagher scored 14 points with five rebounds to lead the Pride, while senior forward Courtney Colella fell just short of a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Ally Ferrucci also scored 11 points to go with six rebounds and game-high seven assists, while Sutliff finished with 10 points off the bench.

The Knights shot and efficient 42 percent (27-64) from the field while holding Widener to 28 percent (22-80) shooting from the floor and 14 percent (3-22) from three-point range.
