GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University fell visiting Moravian College Monday night by a final of 3-1 (24-26, 25-16, 20-25, 20-25) in the Knights' final home match of the 2015 season. Arcadia honored

The Greyhounds improved to 16-15 for the season, while the Knights fell to 12-15 on the year.
Arcadia appeared to be on its way to a game-one win after going up 22-18, but Moravian went on a six-point run to go up 24-22. A kill from Ahern and an ace from freshman
Sam Dulak tied it at 24-all, but a kill from Taylor Kornmann and an ace from Rebecca Purcell gave the Greyhounds the game and a 1-0 lead in the match.
Moravian was up 23-13 in the third game before the Knights used a seven-point run to pull back within 23-20, but they weren't able to come all the way back. Mary Zacher's kill snapped Arcadia's scoring run and an ace from Megan Szkolnicki put the game away, giving the Greyhounds a 2-1 lead in the match.
Arcadia got out to a 7-2 start in the fourth game, but Moravian settled down following a timeout and used a 4-1 run to pull back within a point. The game was tied at 17 following three straight points for the Knights, but the Greyhounds responded with a five-point surge to go up 22-17 on their way to winning the game and secure the match victory.
Kornmann hit .448 with a match-high 17 kills and four errors on 29 attempts to lead Moravian to the win, while Zacher finished with 12 kills and six digs. Szkolnicki tallied 35 assists with seven digs.
Freshman
Becca Campf hit .333 with 11 kills and four errors on 21 attempts to lead the Knights, while Karnavas registered 10 kills and seven digs. Ahern notched a match-high 15 digs.
Arcadia will close out the 2015 campaign Thursday with a MAC Commonwealth match at Lebanon Valley College.
