GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University fell visiting Moravian College Monday night by a final of 3-1 (24-26, 25-16, 20-25, 20-25) in the Knights' final home match of the 2015 season. Arcadia honored Kathryn Ahern and Christina Karnavas in a Senior Night ceremony prior to the start of the match.

The Greyhounds improved to 16-15 for the season, while the Knights fell to 12-15 on the year.

Arcadia appeared to be on its way to a game-one win after going up 22-18, but Moravian went on a six-point run to go up 24-22. A kill from Ahern and an ace from freshman Sam Dulak tied it at 24-all, but a kill from Taylor Kornmann and an ace from Rebecca Purcell gave the Greyhounds the game and a 1-0 lead in the match.

Moravian was up 23-13 in the third game before the Knights used a seven-point run to pull back within 23-20, but they weren't able to come all the way back. Mary Zacher's kill snapped Arcadia's scoring run and an ace from Megan Szkolnicki put the game away, giving the Greyhounds a 2-1 lead in the match.

Arcadia got out to a 7-2 start in the fourth game, but Moravian settled down following a timeout and used a 4-1 run to pull back within a point. The game was tied at 17 following three straight points for the Knights, but the Greyhounds responded with a five-point surge to go up 22-17 on their way to winning the game and secure the match victory.
