WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Host Lycoming College outscored the Arcadia University women's basketball team 13-6 over the final 4:16  of the game to record a 77-67 win over the Knights Wednesday night in a Commonwealth Conference contest.

The Warriors improved to 15-8 overall and 7-7 in conference play as they swept the season series with Arcadia, which fell to 11-11 overall and 7-6 in conference play with the loss. The Knights now hold a half-game lead over Lycoming in the Commonwealth Conference standings with three games remaining in the season and one game in hand.

DiMuro scored a team-best 17 points on 7 of 12 shooting to go with 12 rebounds, while Crenny netted 11 points while pulling down a game-high 14 rebounds for her conference leading 17th double-double of the year. She entered the night ranked sixth in the nation in double-doubles this season.

Senior guard/forward Megan Fox scored 16 points, while junior guard Dominique Hassinger chipped in with 12 points, six boards and five assists. Junior guard Maureen Fiocca managed just seven points in the game, well below her season average of 15 points per contest.

Senior forward Ali Derr scored a game-high 22 points on 8 of 18 shooting from the field to go with eight rebounds and three blocked shots to leads the Warriors, while junior guard Olivia Manges poured in 17 points on 6 of 11 shooting to go with four assists. Freshman forward Shelby Mueller added 12 points with seven boards, while sophomore guard Nicole Calella finished with 10 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals.

It was a tight game most of the way, with the two team exchanging first half runs before Lycoming settled for a 35-32 lead at the half. Freshman guard/forward Haley Sipple drained a three that capped off a 10-3 run to put the Warriors up 31-22 with 3:18 left in the opening frame. Crenny then ignited a 10-4 surge to close the period that was finished off by basket from Fiocca with four seconds on the clock.

The Knights were able to draw even at 37-all in the opening minutes of the second as Fox hit and and-one after converting a layup as she was fouled 2:35 into the period, but were never able to regain the lead.

Lycoming immediately went on an 11-2 run to open a nine-point advantage, but Arcadia battled back to within two after Fiocca converted a layup to cut the Warriors' lead to 53-51 midway through the second half. Lycoming led by three after a 1 for 2 trip to the line for Fiocca made it 64-61 with 4:31 remaining, but six straight points for the Warriors put them up nine with 3:22 on the clock and their lead was extended to as many as 12 in the final following a jumper from Derr and a free throw from junior guard Victoria Siebecker in the final minute of the game.

Arcadia shot just 36 percent (24-67) from the field and 21 percent (3-14) from three, while Lycoming shot 46 percent (26-57) from the floor and 58 percent (7-12) from three.
