DANBURY, Conn. – The Arcadia University men's basketball team been selected as the No. 5 seed for the 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Championship Tournament, and will open tournament play at fourth-seeded DeSales University Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The Knights will be making their first ECAC tournament appearance in program history.
Tickets for Wednesday's quarterfinal at DeSales are $5 for general admission, $3 for seniors and $2 for students with a valid University ID. Fans unable to attend the game can follow the contest online through DeSales'

Arcadia dropped an 81-75 decision to the Bulldogs back on January 7 at in Center Valley. Sophomore
Ryan Kelley scored a career-high 26 points in the game for the Knights, while senior
Joe Brown netted 18 points. Sophomore Brian Laird totaled 20 points on 7 of 14 shooting from the field with four threes to lead DeSales, while senior Travis Bryan netted 16 points on 5 of 6 shooting from the floor while making each of his six free throw attempts.
The remaining quarterfinal matchups include eighth-seeded Bethany College at top-seeded Penn State Behrend, second-seeded Stevenson University at seventh-seeded McDaniel College, and sixth-seeded Hood College at third-seeded Waynesburg University. The semifinal and championship rounds will be hosted by the winner of the Bethany-Penn State Behrend game March 7-8.
For the season, Arcadia was 2-3 against teams in the ECAC tournament field. The Knights posted a pair of wins over Hood, but fell twice to Stevenson in addition to their loss to DeSales.
