GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's soccer team extended its win streak to three with a 1-0 win over Ramapo Wednesday night at Easton Field. Brad McKim scored the games lone goal on a penalty kick mid way through the second half.
The visiting Roadrunners came out aggressive to open the contest, but put the most pressure on between the 21st and 22nd minute as they put three shots on target. Sophomore keeper
Chris Watson denied all three including a leaping save on a ball going towards the upper right 90.Â
The Knights responded to the visitors' aggressive play evening out hte momentum heading into the half. In what was a physical second half of play, McKim tried taking a ball down the left side into the box. He drew the foul and converted the ensuing penalty kick to the lower left side of the cage.Â
The defense held its own the rest of the way to help Watson complete the clean sheet. The sophomore made six saves on the night.Â
The Knights hit the road for a Saturday night contest at King's before taking on Gwynedd Mercy on Easton Field next Wednesday.
