GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's volleyball team closed out the home portion of its regular season schedule with a sweep of visiting Clarks Summit University Monday night at Alumni Gymnasium. Senior

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Knights (15-13) used big runs early on their way to winning the first set 25-11 and the second 25-12 to go up 2-0 in the match. The Defenders utilized a six-point run to jump in front 6-2 early in the second set, but Arcadia eventually took control and closed the set with a 10-1 run to take the final set 25-15. Sophomore
Katie Wilson started the run with a kills that put the Knights up 16-14, while an attack error by Callie Kitowski ended the match.
ARCADIA LEADERS: Sophomore
Becca Campf hit 56-percent with nine kills on 16 attempts to go with a pair of blocks, while Micklus totaled seven kills and five service aces for a match-high 12 points. Sophomore
Lizzie Joseph hit 67-percent with six kills on just nine swings, while junior
Colleen Stengel tallies 21 assists and seven digs.
CLARKS SUMMIT LEADERS: Kitowski led the Defenders with 10 kills and three digs, while Kara Brown registered six kills, four digs and two aces. Alexa Wagner had 13 assists and a match-high eight digs.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Arcadia outscored Clarks Summit 50-22 in the match while hitting 34 percent as a team, totaling 31 kills and 15 aces. The Defenders managed just 16 kills while totaling 16 attack errors in the match.
