ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss at the hands of Grove City in the opening round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championship Tournament. The Knights' season comes to a close at 9-8-4.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Wolverines got on the board early as David Wurmlinger scored off a rebound in the fourth minute. Blake Baer put Grove City up 2-0 in the seventh minute, before the team scored two more late in the second half.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Knights took seven corners compared to Grove City's four, however were outshot 13-8.
IN GOAL: Kollin White made five saves in his first collegiate start. Bryan Denny denied two shots for Grove City.
