WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Arcadia University women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Wentworth in the First Round of the NCAA Championship Tournament. The No. 21 Knights' season comes to a close with a 17-4 record.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Arcadia dominated the opening 45 minutes, however was unable to find the back of the net. The Leopards scored in the 51st minute on an Emily Richard shot to the lower right corner of the net.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Knights outshot Wentworth 23-13, but were outshot 8-4 in shots on goal. Arcadia took four corner kicks while the Leopards took two.
IN GOAL: Sophomore
Evelyn Feigeles denied seven shots in the game. Micaela Robinson made four saves for Wentworth.
