OWINGS MILL, Md. – The Arcadia University men's basketball team picked up its second straight MAC Commonwealth win Saturday afternoon with a 76-64 victory at Stevenson. The win improved the Knights' record to 3-4 on the season and 2-1 in conference play, the Mustangs fell to 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the MAC Commonwealth.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: After sophomore 
Josh Scott netted a three to open the game's scoring, the hosts responded by scoring nine straight to take a six-point lead 5:18 into the first half. The Mustangs led by as many as seven twice in the first half, their largest lead of the game, with the latest coming on a Kyle Woodridge three to put Stevenson ahead 16-9 with 12:55 to go in the opening frame. The Knights came back to tie the contest at 16 on a junior

Ryan Kelley converted a three to give the Knights' a 23-20 lead with 6:27 left in the half. Using an 18-11 run to end the first half, Arcadia took a 41-30 lead to halftime.  
 
After the hosts scored the first four points of the second half to pull within seven, sophomore 
Kyle Reilly netted the first five points of a 12-1 run that gave the Knights control of the contest as it put Arcadia in front by 18 just under six minutes into the second stanza. The Knights continued to press, eventually opening their largest lead of the game at 68-43 when sophomore 
Evan Slone laid in two points with 8:56 left. A game-ending 21-8 run from Stevenson wasn't enough as the Knights claimed the 12-point win.
 
ARCADIA LEADERS: Kelley led all scorers with 19 points on a 7-10 shooting performance that including going 5-8 from beyond the arc, he also led all players with six assists. Thompson shot 50% (4-8) from the floor and went 4-4 from the free throw line as he contributed 14 points with Scott adding 11 on 4-5 shooting. Reilly led all players with eight rebounds.
 
STEVENSON LEADERS: Cameron Hayes led the Mustangs with 14 points and seven rebounds; he was joined in double-figure scoring by Woolridge with 12. Korey Hayman Jr led the team with four assists.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Knights shot 50% (27-54) from the floor on the day including 13-24 (54.3%) from beyond the arc, while converting 75% (9-12) from the free throw line. The Mustangs shot 43.8% (21-48) from the field, but went just 2-7 (28.6%) from distance and shot 66.7% (20-30) from the charity stripe. Arcadia's bench outscored Stevenson's 24-13, however the hosts held a slim 24-20 advantage in the paint and outscored Arcadia 19-11 off turnovers.
