WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's tennis team wrapped up the fall portion of its season at the MAC Individual Championships Saturday afternoon. The Knights saw two individuals and one doubles pair advance to the Quarterfinals.
 
MOVING ON:

• Freshman Laryssa Badulak advanced to the quarterfinals after downing Mary Kramer of Albright 6-0-6-2 in the No. 4 singles bracket; she was edged 6-4, 6-2 in her quarterfinal match
• Freshman Isabella Fontanella picked up a 6-4, 7-5 win in the First Round of the No. 6 singles bracket over Taylor Weirich of Eastern; she fell 6-0, 6-1 in the quarterfinals to the flight's second seed.
• In doubles play, junior Zoe Foglia teamed with freshman Tess Weber for an 8-5 win over Lebanon Valley's Marla Scacchitti and Melanie Haas in the No. 1 bracket.

 
CLOSE CALLS:

• Senior Amanda Shulski forced a third set in her First Round matchup in the No. 2 singles bracket, before falling 3-6, 7-4, 7-10
• Weber took her No. 3 singles match to three sets before being edged 5-7, 6-3, 7-10
• Badulak and Shulski were edged 8-5 in the second doubles bracket
