READING, Pa. – Despite  15 points from junior Evan Slone, the Arcadia University men's basketball dropped its conference opener against Albright Saturday afternoon. Sloan was joined in double figures by classmate Josh Scott (18 points).
 
FOR THE RECORD:

• Arcadia fell to 3-4 on the 2017-18 campaign.
• Alright advanced to 5-1 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The first half started neck-and-neck before the Lions took off with a 10-0 run in the middle of the quarter to extend their lead. In the first, Scott dropped 10 points for the Knights.
• Early in the second frame, the Knights took a 9-0 run over a 3:35 span to cut the deficit to 10. Despite the run, the Lions stayed aggressive and wouldn't budge. 

GAME NOTES:

• The Knights scored 21 of their points off of 15 Albright turnovers. Arcadia was also carful with the ball, turning the ball over just six times.
• Slone went 5 of 9 from the floor, shooting 55.6% from the floor.

• Arcadia will head to Messiah for a game on Wednesday December 6. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
