GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team scored each of the first 10 goals of the game and had nine different goal-scorers on its way to a convincing 18-6 non-conference victory over visiting Rutgers-Camden Wednesday afternoon at Jean Lenox West Field.
FOR THE RECORD: The Knights improved to 4-1 with the victory, while the Scarlet Raptors record fell to 1-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Arcadia outscored Rutgers-Camden 15-2 in the first half on its way to the win. Junior

Allegra Benites scored the eventual game-winner on a free position attempt 10 minutes into the game, giving the Knights a 7-0 lead. Arcadia closed the first half with four unanswered goals, two coming from Brockman and one each coming off the sticks of senior

IN GOAL: Junior
Liz Stierle improved to 4-1 was awarded the decision after recording two saves and allowing one goal in the opening 18:29 of the game. Freshman
Veandra Selby had one saves while allowing three goals over the next 28:41, while classmate
Molly Naylor had two saves and two goals against in the final 12:50. Caitlyn Snyder fell to 1-1 after totaling 10 saves while playing all 60 minutes for the Scarlet Raptors.
ARCADIA LEADERS: Freshman
Julia Imbert totaled four goals and one assists for a game-high five points, while Brockman also finished with four goals while collecting four draw controls and two groundballs. Misner had two goals, two assists and four draw controls, while Benites finished with two goals, one assist and two draw controls. Junior defender
Courtney Capehart had a game-high three groundballs and scored her first goal of the season to cap the scoring in the game.
RUTGERS-CAMDEN LEADERS: Nicole Martin scored two goals and assisted on two others for a team-best four points. Brianna Manko also had two goals in the game, while Kaitlyn Ennis and Jessica Mayer had one goal each.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Arcadia outshot Rutgers-Camden 30-12 in the game, including a 22-5 advantage in the first half, and had an 18-8 advantage on draw controls. Groundballs (14-12) and caused turnovers (7-4) also favored the Knights.
