FREDRICK, Md. – The Arcadia University men's lacrosse team wrapped up the 2017 regular season Saturday afternoon, taking down Hood 8-7 on the road in MAC Commonwealth action. The Knights improved to 5-11 on the season and 3-5 in the conference, while the Blazers fell to 8-9 overall and 1-7 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED: After surrendering the game's first goal early, Arcadia scored three of the next four goals for a 3-2 lead after one quarter. Senior

Ryan Mahon with 5:33 to go in the frame to get the Knights on the board, before Hood jumped back in front a minute later. Freshman
Clo Muscara netted his first of the day on an assist from classmate
Austin Williams to tie the game at two just shy of a minute later. Stanton's second of the quarter gave the Knights the one-goal advantage heading into the second quarter.
After Grayson Zubradt scored with 57 seconds left in the second quarter to tie the game at three, the Knights came out in the second half to score two goals just over a minute apart. Mahon met twine on an unassisted effort two and a half minutes into the third quarter before Muscara scored 1:17 later to give the Scarlet and Grey a 5-3 lead.
Hood retaliated with three of the next four goals, including two with an extra man, to tie the game at six with 7:26 to go in the fourth quarter. Much like Tuesday, Williams played the role of hero scoring two of the game's final three goals, including the game winner with 1:08 left on the clock.
ARCADIA LEADERS: Williams led the way with two goals and an assist for three points, while Muscara and Stanton each also scored twice. Mahon and O'Leary each had a goal and an assist.
HOOD LEADERS: Zubradt fueled Hood's offense with three goals, followed by Patrick O'Brien with two markers.
IN GOAL: Sophomore
Danny Lipkin (5-9) made 18 saves in the win for the Knights, while John Hoffman (7-9) allowed eight goals and made 10 saves in the loss for Hood.
