FREDRICK, Md. – The Arcadia University women's soccer team opened MAC Commonwealth play Saturday afternoon, downing Hood 3-0.
FOR THE RECORD: The Knights improved to 7-4 on the year with a 1-0 MAC Commonwealth mark. The Blazers dropped to 8-2-1.

th minute to give the Scarlet and Grey a 2-0 lead. The former sent a through ball into the box, where the latter finished off the post and in. Freshman
Emily Readinger had a chance to tack on a goal late in the opening frame, but was denied.
Arcadia picked up in the second half where it left off in the first. Sophomore

Kayla Haberbosch each tested the Blazer keeper in the first 10 minutes, before Kelly converted a penalty kick in the 60
th minute.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Knights dominated the stat sheet, outshooting the hosts 15-3. Of those 15 shots, 12 were on goal. Arcadia also controlled corner kicks, taking 11 compared to Hood's three.
IN GOAL: Senior
Evelyn Feigeles picked up her first win of the season in her first start; she made one save. Rachel Knoebel allowed three goals and made three saves in 74:16 of work while taking the loss.
