GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia men's soccer team fell to Lebanon Valley, 3-0 on senior day at Jean Lenox West Field and Delran Pavilion.
The Knights end their season at 5-11-1 (2-6 MACC) while Lebanon Valley improves to 10-5-1 (5-1 MACC).
The Dutchmen took the lead in the 11th minute when Caleb Cekella scored on a feed from Peter Foerster making the score 1-0.
Lebanon Valley extended its lead in the 21st minute. Ron Hanoek took a shot from the right side of the box, giving the Dutchmen a 2-0 lead.
Ryan Hammer attempted to put the Knights within one in the 26th minute, firing a shot that was stopped by Lebanon Valley keeper Sean Quirk.
The Dutchmen added a third goal in the 57th minute, to eventually take the three-goal victory.
IN GOAL: Jake Varrato played 63:54 for the Knights, making two saves and allowing three.
Collin Day came on in relief and played the final 26:06. Quirk played all 90 minutes for Lebanon Valley, making seven stops.
