MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – The Arcadia women's tennis team defeated Penn State Harrisburg 6-3 on Tuesday, to improve to 3-4 on the season.
The Knights won four singles matches on the afternoon.
Emily Cruz-Pineda defeated Clair Hackenberg, 6-2, 6-1 in flight three.
In flight four,
Casey Boldt won 6-4, 6-4 over Elysse Mellott adding another point for the Knights.
Laryssa Badulak and
Sarah Rosario also won their singles matches, giving Arcadia four points.
Cruz-Pineda and Boldt won their doubles match 8-6 over Soorya Chitibabu and Makiya Binion in flight two, for another Knights point.
Tess Weber and
Julia Paraboschi won their doubles match in flight one, for the Knights sixth point, to secure the three point victory.
The Knights are back in action on Oct. 20-21 for the MAC Individual Championships.
