MADISON, N.J. – The Arcadia women's swimming team swept its tri-meet with Drew and Elizabethtown on Saturday. The Knights defeated Drew 136-126 and Elizabethtown 173-89.
The Knights won five events on the day, and had 20 top-three finishes overall.
Taylor Byers placed first in two events, the 100 yard breaststroke and the 200 yard breaststroke. Byers finished the 100 in 1:13.35 and the 200 in 2:38.15.
Claire Hamilton finished first in the 50 yard freestyle, touching the tall in a season best time of 26.21.
Rachel Samson finished first in the 100 yard freestyle, finishing in 56.83.
The relay team of
Megan Hupp, Hamilton, Samson and
Madison McKay finished first in the 200 yard freestyle relay, touching the tall in 1:43.59.
Arcadia is back in action next week when the Knights compete in the College of New Jersey Invitational, begining on Nov. 30 and concluding on Dec. 2.
