WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Arcadia's men's basketball team improved to 7-2 on the season with a 76-65 win at Lycoming on Saturday afternoon.

Evan Slone led the Knights (7-2, 3-0 MAC Commonwealth) with 23 points and seven rebounds and AU outscored the Warriors (5-4, 1-3) 39-29 in the second half to remain perfect in league play.

A one-point lead at the break for AU turned into a four-point deficit (45-41) with under 14 minutes to play on a three pointer by Markanthony Fidelis. The Knights answered with an 18-5 surge to assume at 59-50 lead with 7:26 remaining and never trailed again.

Will Derr scored twice inside to tie the game at 47-47, and
Steve Pendleton made it 49-47 with a steal and layup at the 11:47 mark. Slone capped the run with an old-fashioned three-point play and a layup for the aforementioned nine-point lead. Arcadia's lead would swell to as many as 12 point in the game's final five minutes.

In addition to Slone's 23 points and seven rebounds,
Phil Pierfy added 10 points and six rebounds.
Da'Kquan Davis scored nine points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out three assists, while
Josh Scott chipped in eight points, nine rebounds and a pair of assists.

Fiedelis led the Warriors with 28 points, including 6 of 10 shooting from long range, while Darius Dangerfield added 11 points, four assists and three rebounds.

Arcadia will play host to Stevenson on Saturday beginning at 3 p.m.
