Men's Volleyball Slips to Messiah

GRANTHAM, Pa. – Arcadia men's volleyball fell to conference foe Messiah Wednesday night, 3-1 (25-20, 16-25, 26-28, 19-25).
 
FOR THE RECORD:
  • Arcadia evens out its record at 7-7, and fall to 3-1 in the conference.
  • Messiah advances to 5-2 on the year, with a MAC mark of 2-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The first set was neck and neck most of the way, seeing 10 ties. When the score sat even at 18, the Knights took a 7-2 run to close out the first set on top.
  • The hosts responded in the second game, running out to an 11-4 lead. The Scarlet and Grey tried to rally back, however the Falcons buckled down to take the set.
  • The third set was knotted at 25, before the Falcons finished off on a 3-1 run to claim the game.
  • During the final set, the Knights would rebound after Messiah rushed out to 7-2 lead. Arcadia cut the deficit to two at 15-13, before the hosts went on a run to claim the match.

  • The Knights head to Ramapo on Saturday for a tri-match against Thiel and the hosting Roadrunners. The matches are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
