READING, Pa. – The fifth-seeded Arcadia men's basketball team fell to the first-seeded Albright Lions Wednesday night, 58-45, in the MAC Commonwealth Semifinals. The Knights will now await potential selection into the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championship Tournament. 
 
FOR THE RECORD:

• The Scarlet and Grey move to 14-13.
• Albright advances to 20-5 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Lions had control of the first half, leading by as many as 17 points. Late in the half, the Knights took a 6-2 run over a 6:00 span to cut the deficit to 13. Shortly after, the half ended with the Lions on top, 27-12.
• The Scarlet and Grey battled back from an early second half run by the hosts with a 15-5 run of its own, spanning 6:31 to cut the deficit to 11 at 38-27. Over the rally, sophomore Steve Pendleton scored six for the Knights with junior Phil Pierfy adding four. Arcadia couldn't keep the comeback alive as it fell to the Lions.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Pierfy and classmate Josh Scott led the Knights with nine points each.
• On the glass, Pierfy neared a double-double as he led the team with nine boards.

GAME NOTES:

• Scott will head into his senior season with 995 career points.
