Pinto Hired as Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

GLENSIDE, Pa. – Mackenzie Pinto has been hired as an assistant women's soccer coach, announced head women's soccer coach Rick Brownell. Pinto comes to Glenside after serving as an assistant girl's coach and goalkeeper coach at Wissahickon High School since August 2016.
 
"We're thrilled to have Coach Pinto join our women's soccer staff," Brownell said. "We've been fortunate to have had great assistant coaches in our program and Coach Pinto will be another excellent addition. She has a stellar reputation for goalkeeper training, as well as a highly professional business background that will continue to add depth to our leadership."
 
Aside from her role at Wissahickon High School, Pinto serves as a goalkeeper instructor for Just 4 Keepers where she is responsible for player development from beginner to collegiate levels.
 
Pinto spent four years as a goalkeeper at Point Park University (PPU) in Pittsburgh, Pa. Over the course of her career, Pinto played in 42 games, making 34 starts, while making 158 saves and allowing just 43 goals against.
 
After graduating with her bachelor's degree in sports, arts, and entertainment management in 2014, Pinto continued her education at Point Park, earning her MBA in international business in 2016.
 
During her graduate course work, she served as an assistant women's soccer coach and goalkeeper coach at PPU from April 2015 to May 2016.
