GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia men's tennis team shut down Bryn Athyn Friday, taking the non-conference match by a score of 9-0. The Knights won first and second doubles and first through fifth singles; they claimed third doubles and sixth singles by default.
FOR THE RECORD:

• The Scarlet and Grey own a 7-6 mark on the year.
• The Lions dropped to 3-7.

WINNERS:

• The duo of sophomore Nick Simeone and junior Jaime Zeng Zhu claimed an 8-3 win over Amit Padmanabhan and Vojtech Luza at first doubles.
• Sophomore Drake Hanak and junior John Zinzer paired up to best Zach Brock and Jacob Elder 8-1 at No. 2 doubles.
• In the first singles flight, Simeone slipped past Padmanabhan 6-4, 7-6 (7-1).
• Zeng Zhu shut out Luza in the second singles flight, 6-0, 6-0.
• Zinzer upended Brock 6-1, 6-0 at third singles.
• Junior Alex Post chalked up a 6-1, 6-2 win over Elder at fourth singles.
• Freshman Tim Zeng picked up his first collegiate win, 6-2, 6-2, over Camden Cacolice in the fifth singles flight.
