Zeng Zhu Helps Men’s Tennis Take Down Albright, 7-2, in Final Road Game of the Season

READING, Pa. – Junior Jaime Zeng Zhu picked up two victories Thursday afternoon to help Arcadia men's tennis to a 7-2 win over Albright.
 
FOR THE RECORD:
  • Arcadia advances to 9-7 overall and 4-2 in the MAC Commonwealth.
  • Albright falls to 2-14 on the season, with an 0-6 conference mark.
ARCADIA WINNERS:
  • The Knights went 2-1 in doubles play, seeing Zeng Zhu and sophomore Nick Simeone win 8-2 in number one doubles and junior Keith Rader and sophomore Drake Hanak win 8-0 in number two doubles.
  • In singles action, the Scarlet and Grey went 5-1. Simeone took number one singles, 6-0, 6-4.
  • Rader cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 number two singles victory.
  • Hanak took number three singles, 6-3, 1-0 after Albright retired.
  • Zeng Zhu was flawless in number four singles, 6-0, 6-0.
  • Junior Alex Post took number five singles 6-3, 3-1 with an Albright retirement.
CLOSE CALLS:
  • The Lions were able to take number three doubles as Post and freshman Tim Zeng fell, 8-4.
  • Zeng also fell in number six singles, 6-1, 6-1.
UP NEXT:
  • Arcadia returns to the court on Saturday when it hosts Stevenson for its regular season finale. Match time is slated for 11 a.m.
