MADISON, N.J. – The Arcadia women's tennis team fell in a pair of matches to Rider and Drew on Sunday.
The Knights fell to Drew 5-4 in a tightly contested first match of the day.
Zoe Fogila and Tess weber win their doubles match in flight one 8-6.
Emily Cruz-Pineda and
Casey Boldt were narrowly edged 8-6 in flight two of doubles play.
Maeghan Myers won the Knights second doubles point with a 8-7 win over Xylia Bruff with a 10-3 tiebreaker.
In singles, Boldt won flight four, 6-3, 6-2 and Myers won her singles match 6-3, 7-5, to give the Knights two more points. The two points in singles were not enough as Arcadia ultimitley fell one point short.
In the Knights second match of the day, Arcadia struggled to keep pace with Rider, falling 7-2, with its points coming in wins by default.
The Knights are back in action on Tuesday for a match with DeSales at 3:30 p.m.
