Harun Abdullahi scored twice and
Ryan Hammer added a goal and an assist as the Arcadia men's soccer team prevailed at Ursinus, 4-3, on Wednesday evening at Patterson Field.

Abdullahi ran his goal count to four through the season's first three games, but it was
Duncan O'Connor's goal with 3:07 remaining that lifted the Knights (2-1-0) to victory. Ursinus fell to 0-2-0 with the loss. Â

O'Connor's goal was one of four scored in the second period and completed a comeback from a 3-2 deficit with 20 minutes to play.
Ryan Hammer scored from 25 yards out in the 73rd minute that tied the contest at 3-3. He had earlier assisted on Abdullahi's first goal of the contest. With under four minutes to play, O'Connor gathered a loose ball and ripped a shot from over 20 yards out with his left foot for the game winner.

IN GOAL:
Jake Varrato made his third start in goal for the Knights and allowed all three goals while not making a save. Brandon Lillan made three saves for Ursinus, while also getting help from his defenders who cleared balls off the line on two occasions.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: With four goals thus far, Abdullahi is on pace to far exceed his seven goals from a season ago … Wednesday's two-goal effort was the second brace of his career … Hammer scored a goal to go with his assist and now has two goals and an assist this season … Arcadia outshot Ursinus 15-7, including 10-3 in the first half, and also earned eight corner kicks to three for the Bears.
