WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Arcadia women's swimming team spit its tri-meet with King's and Messiah on Saturday afternoon. The Knights defeated King's 158-104 and fell to Messiah, 178-84.
Arcadia set two personal best times and four season best times on the day, and earned 12 top-three finishes.
Madison McKay finished second in three events for the Knights on the day. McKay was second in the 50-yard freestyle (26.67), the 100-yard freestyle (57.91) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.09).
Megan Hupp finished second in the 200-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 2:03.31, and the 500-yard freestyle (5:33.16).

Taylor Byers also posted two top-three finishes in the meet. Samson was second in the 200-yard butterfly, finishing in 2:23.28 and the 200-yard IM, finishing with a time of 2:22.83. Byers was second in the 200-yard breaststroke, with a time of 2:37.25 and third in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:13.88.
Claire Hamilton set a personal best time in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing the event with a time of 2:03.58, which was good for third place.
Bekah Brown posted a season best time in the 100 yard butterfly of 1:06.38, which was good for a fourth place finish.
Alyssa D'Esposito also had a top-three finish in the meet for the Knights. She finished third in the 1.000-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 11:28.72.
Bailey Babarsky finished in the top-five in two events for the Knights, the 100 yard breast (1:16.51) and the 200 yard breast (2:47.48).
The relay team of Hupp, Hamilton, Samson and McKay finished second in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:51.68.
Arcadia is back in action on Saturday, Jan. 19, when the Knights host Widener on senior day. The dual meet is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
